How'd you do on your first Hm file ever?

So after playing Harvest Moon for the
first time in your life....how'd you do?
I got a horrible score at the end of my game.
I was about 9 or 10, and it was Hm 64 which took me 4 years to marry Ann.
It was mainly because I wasn't aware I had to get a kitchen to marry.
The only other extension I got was a baby bed. .__.
I had no animals, not even one chicken, and only one patch of tomatoes.
I'm pretty sure Karen left, that I didn't exactly make friends with the other
villagers, and I only had 2500 gold. Woohoo!
So how horrible did you do? Maybe you did well....?
Or maybe you did as bad as me...

Ahaha, the memories. When I first started playing A Wonderful Life I barely farmed a thing.
In fact, I sold tons of cut fodder to Van each week so I could get a few thousand because I thought that would get me the most money. That is after I figured out I could cut grass to get regular fodder, since before then I ordered Good Fodder all the time to keep my animals alive and totally buried my wallet six feet deep, ha ha fail on my part.
I almost never had the heart to tell Murray to give me my things back so I just let him have them, blah. I still can remember my stack of B grade tomatoes being taken after the time gone through to grow them. The sun drying up the earth so you have to water your crops twice a day function blagged me out.
I remember trying to catch Grant each day leaving his home to get the alarm clock. Took eons, heh.
Needless to say though I'll say it anyhow, it was full of my flaws but still mighty fun.
I thank it eternally for hooking me to the series. <3

My first game was StHL
I played the WHOLE year without doing anything.
No crops, no cows, I think all I had was one chicken.
Then at the end of the year I got the horrible sad cut scene where the town is turned into an amusement park.
I played that game so many times over until I beat it I think I was like... 7?
It was awesome ;P

When I first played AnWL, I did absolutely nothing, I didn't plant any crops or raise any animals or anything, I only focused on getting married. xD;
And then, when I found the cheat, I used it and then I started to plant crops and rasing animals.

My first game was AWL - I don't even remember how old I was. =/
All I remember was getting really angry because I couldn't plant anything. I didn't know I had to till the ground first . . .
I think I did fine after that because I looked stuff up.

AWL was my first one. I did rather well. I just figured everything out myself bit by bit.

So..Horrible.
It was a Wonderful Life. I brought a hen early, but I forgot about her(or did I just not have food..),and she died. I cried when she died, since I was like seven years old.
My other animals were pretty nice though, but I had a lot of cows and bulls.
I married Celia, like I did 5 out of 6 times in those games. My son was pretty nice, but he didn't become a farmer. He never did,in any of my files..

In IoH, I Fainted every day. No joke. I always ate my seaweed. After that, I did pretty good. It was after about 1-2 months I discovered Fogu.

Oh « Harvest Goddess ». Mine was AWL and I was such a clueless kid. I kept pressing the wrong options during the love events and even planting crops was hard enough.

Not... that... good. N64, by the way, for me.
I married Popuri a year or two after my dad came to the farm, and from what I can remember, I had a bunch of chickens and like... one or two cows. It was a long time ago, probably when I was like... 8 or 9, actually. But I was so addicted to the game!
Haha, I ended up doing really well before my friend who had the game moved, like... REALLY good. Although, last time I played, I was on Year 10... so... XD
Every game after that I've done quite well. At least better than I would my first Harvest Moon. Haha.

Mfomt
I got married in Year 4 to Cliff. I wasn't really friends with the villagers but they didn't hate me. I think haha
Had a few cows and chickens.
Some crops.
yeah. Never upgraded my watering can past gold.
I think I was like 12. So I think was past that kid stage of running around and not having a clue. See I just do that in real life~
Then I got AnWL and used the controller cheat.
Pssh I was like Queen « Baaaa *glomp* » then.
But before it... Damn I was like selling my blood to feed my chicken.

BtN was my first Harvest Moon game. Ah, the memories. I can remember my first file being a complete failure.
I was young and lazy, so couldn't be bothered properly reading what the Mayor and Zack had to tell me. Because of this, I didn't know what the shipping bin was, so I didn't know how to earn money. « Harvest Goddess ». I was an idiot. D: I tried to plant seeds on a path in the middle of town, I kept eating things instead of putting them in my rucksack...
It's a wonder I can actually make successful files now. :<

I played HM64 when I was eight, that was my first game.
I did surprisingly well. I married Maria, though I didn't get the baby born in time for the evaluation. I got all of the girls to pink hearts eventually, but they were my only friends. Though I did get one of the rival couples married... Ann and Cliff, I think, because eight-year-old me was internet-savvy and knew Cliff would be lost forever if I didn't make friends with him. Didn't get Karen to stay, though, because I didn't figure out about the dog trick in time.
Made boatloads of cash, because I felt if I wasn't using up all of my time or energy, I must be doing something wrong (I still feel that way to this day, actually; if I've got more energy, time, and land to use, I have to use it). Even got the TARDIS-- I MEAN, the greenhouse, so I didn't have to spend time with my crops.
Though, I couldn't ever figure out how to get the horse.
And one time, I had a sheep and a cow. One day, I ran out of fodder after I fed the cow, so my sheep got sick. Well, eventually, my sheep was sick for a whole week and it died. My brother never let me live it down. Eight years later, just last week, I got a sheep in EAM. And he goes, "You sure you can take care of it? You.... Sheep Neglector?"
The worst thing, though... my character's name was Hollow Star-Filled Star-Hollow Star. And I always pronounced it like that. My child's name was Hollow Heart-Filled Heart-Hollow Heart.
The dog's name? Fluffy.
Ah, those were the days. Harvest Moon was so mystifying then. Now it's a science.

my first was AnWL an it was embarrasing mostly because half the cutscenes made me cry. When I married /proposed to Rock my mom walked in and I was crying XD
Otherwise my cow almost died twice, my charactor was sick until the third year, mostly I had less than 2000G, and I named my charactor Atarkia and this was before I started playing WoW (thats my hunters name)
The second file was mostly the same but I wasn't sick as much and I was named Eliza. And I didn't cry as much
