I guess Molly fits. It sorta goes with her appearance in my opinion. Kasey just reminds me of 'Casey and Friends' though, if anyone has seen that. ^_^;

Oh, whoa! So Hikari's name might be Molly! :DDD I really like that--it's cutesy and fits her design and stuff, I think.
...That sorta creeped me out when I saw that, though, because I had this fleeting thought in my head last night and I was like, "y'know, Molly'd be kind of a cool name for Hikari. Sorta kid-ish, but it'd work. :D" And then I chck here and now apparently her name might just be Molly! I get those kinds of thoughts sometimes and then they, like...come true, weirdly. o.o
The only thing that the name Molly reminds me of is Molly the dolly from the Big Comfy Couch...but that's good 'cause I thought Molly was the coolest doll ever when I was little...I think I even had a doll of Molly, too...now I sorta wonder where that thing went. :P
...As for Kasey for Yuuki, that's, like...really out there. Not in a bad way or anything, but...out there. Considering his name meant "courage" I thought they'd pick like Leo or something...but apparently Kasey means "vigilant" in Gaelic according to one of those name-meaning sites, so...I guess they were close? o.o;

Molly, huh?
I thought Holly would have fit her very well, and, uh... well, Molly is just one letter off, but it's also my mum's nickname, so it kinda... irks me. Makes me think of someone much older than Hikari. Holly's closer to Hikari, too. Molly's just fine, though.
They could've done a lot worse; the closest English name I can think of to Hikari is Hilary, and that would have been SO utterly wrong.
Kasey just seems off, though. For one thing, that name spelled with a K always strikes me as a girls' name. Casey doesn't even fit, though, because whenever I think of that name, one of two images comes to mind: this creeper kid who used to ride my bus in junior high whose name was Casey, or the Grateful Dead song "Casey Jones" (and thus the titular railroad engineer). And NEITHER of those images are accurate. And it still sounds too feminine, far as I'm concerned. Kassey would've been funny, though, but then I'd be tempted to name my kid Patrick... or maybe just name myself whatever and name my sons Kassey and Patrick. And marry the Witch, so they'd have white hair? Epic. I'd never do it, but it would be epic.
Enough ranting, though. I'm just going to rename him Kale in my file, anyway. Or maybe Alex.
Though, I have to admit, I think Jerry would've been a good default name for him... though it reminds me of a sneaky mouse or a certain comedian that made nine seasons of a show about nothing. It still fits him, in my opinion. I suppose I just have no name that isn't attached to something.
Oh goodness... Is this post going to make me feel older than I am?
