In the boy version, when you befriend Zack and he starts talking in Japanese, I think he is saying something about he did not think (main character) would make it or something like that.
They translated it in the girl version and it said something like that so that might be what he said.

When you walk home at night with Cliff (you have to have married him and be pregnant) he says something in Japanese, but the next thing he says is in English. I've seen Gray talking in Japanese too.
