Kinda like how rune factory frontier was out so fast in english after the japan release
 here's another person who "opens mouth, inserts foot".

The process of localizing a video game, by ATLUS (as found on the RS page)

Natsume is smaller than ATLUS, and would obviously take more time than the process ATLUS goes through.

Besides just localization work, you have to work deals with retail stores that may or may not want to give up precious shelf space for a game. If they say "we will have room when we remove lame-wii-game off the shelf sometime in December", then December it will be.

Plus there's the other companies involved; for example, if Brady Games is taking a really long time to make their strategy guide, would it make more sense to postpone the game release as well so that you make more money from people who buy the game and guide at the same time?

And then there's the pre-order bonus items. Those take time to manufacture as well.

Remember, video games are about making money. If more money will be earned by releasing a game in a different time frame then that is was is going happen. No amount of you piss-whining is going to change that.

It's coming in November? I hope they don't push the date even further... :shifty:
No dates have been pushed back yet. Hopefully none will be at all but that's quite a lot to ask from Natsume. Sure Natsume is small Cher, but they still put out work that is shoddy regardless of time spent.

I would say it looks much more amazing than Island of Happiness in my opinion. The fact that you go about raising new islands from the seafloor is just... amazing. Reminds me greatly of Zeal in Chrono Trigger. <3

It was an opinion based on facts you obviously are not aware of. That is the reason for the educational explanation.

I thought that November date seemed vaguely familiar however. When was it's first date stated to be released? I believe it had something to do with August 3rd, though that may have been the day they announced the release dates. I know it was no further than October but if I remember correctly the dates were Animal Parade in October and Sunshine Islands in November which sounds correct since there was a debate of why the Wii title is debuting before the DS title.

I'm just rambling here, so please correct me if you can.

You are correct; it was originally August but has changed. Both games are now Oct/Nov.

So

Frantic Farming / Magical Melody = August
Wiiware title (possibly) = September
Animal Parade = October
Sunshine Islands = November

Why do they want to release AP before SI?
The JP version came out after SI. So I think that SI should be released first.

That's what I was thinking too! 0-o I thought maybe the DS game would come out first, well just because it's for the DS, but I guess not...

My first time waiting for a Harvest moon to be released i'v so far played ones that were previously released, so i wouldn't know how late they were >_>

Hmph and if there a small company i'm getting why games are so late for them.

I'm mad because i was looking so foward to getting it in august and i was saving money for it.
I ended up buying another harvest moon game for GBA with my money and im cool with that.

I can wait for my brithday to get Sunshine Islands.

So whatever...

If they keep putting it off, I'm going to end up getting IoH, too.
Yes, I know, that is a stupid idea, but I can't help it! I have an HM craving.
