Now not that this is a problem or anything, it's just sorta irritating when it says it's a holiday, and you can't buy medicine, then after that the store is closed, then after that is an holiday, then after that it's a blizard, then after that your cows, sheep chicken and ducks die.

But the blizzard you can take care of by using the save and reload trick.

I always make sure I have animal medicine when I buy animals. about one per animal on the farm.

once i was stupid enough to not check the weather before the thanksgiving festival and of course the next day was a blizzard... i wasted so much money just on the chocolate.

yup, you can.

and Mad Kitten, if you dont have much money, keep at least 5 medicines in your tool box. all of your animals wont get sick all at once! (hopefully) and remember to buy more when you use one.

Yesh, yesh we can. But, it's sorta like (I figured it out! *does happy dance* Oh, and I got a golden everything, yay me!)
so, aannyy way, you save, go to bed, then go on channel 1, press a the whole time, until it shows you a pic of the weather. if it's not what you wanna see, then reload. I iz asum.
the point is, when you save then go to bed, don't do anything the next day, make sure the day after that is ok. it take a distance of three days to change weather.

One thing to add. You could have reset/reload if your animals died, in hopes that they would be spared for one more day. If they survived, you'd be given the chance to save them that day. Thank you force above us. ;3 (And soft reset)
