Because the way I see it, you're spending 50 years "waiting", so you might as well earn « Cow Poopoo » loads of cash at the same time!! You'll easily get close to the vacation house, if not already have it by the time you get the mountain cottage... so to me, it just makes no sense to sleep through, because you're just ADDING to the amount of time you HAVE to play, and I know you get bored of the game very easily.... :D
