You're a good sister.
Well, it seemed a bit stupid to have 2 copies, and my sister had wanted to get it for herself, so I thought "Ehh, what the heck?" And now she's addicted. She has MFOMT, DS + Cute and IOH... I only have DS + Cute

well...

i was at a friends house, he asked me do do something for him on a game... i actually did it. the game was FoMT, was playing it on the gamecube with a gameboy player. that was also in 2004

anyway, in 2007, i got a FoMT Very Bad Thing™ on my comp because i remembered the game, i was addicted to it.

last year i got the real version of HMDS, pretty much addicted to that too

and sometime between november last year and feburary this year, and im addicted to it like hmds and fomt...

so basically helping with a game got me addicted to harvest moon

Pokemon is a bit off topic here, but that sounds an interesting way to have started out. Semi-nice brother you have there, and I say semi because you had to beg him so much apparently.
I know, it just felt relevant with what got you into gaming. Pkmn was certainly my route in.
He gave me his silver after he had all the up to date gameboy games of course.
I remeber when i heard they were remaking them (soul silver for DS) and though "omg! They are that old!"
Then i remembered the silver cart is for the original gameboy so...

He is a nice brother :) he fixes the computer whilst i stomp around and complain that it's broken.

I first heard of Harvest Moon at EB Games, where I saw Harvest Moon DS, and I REALLY wanted it for my 10th birthday.

I got it for my birthday, saw the farming, and went '« What The Eggplant »'.

Then I started playing.

There was no going back. I was addicted for life. D;

My friend had FoMT. So I played that. I got addicted. So I requested HMDS a few years ago and got it. Then HMDSC came out, so I just had to get that as well.

I read the back of the box of HM 3 for the GBC. It sounded pretty cool and was able to get it. That was a long time ago and my first game stunk pretty bad (no clue on the meaning of filling up the watercan). :o

I've been buying Havest Moon since then.

My mom got A Wonderful Life, so she played while I watched. Then I wanted a go so she got me Another Wonderful Life but I didn't really get into Harvest Moon till More Friends of Mineral Town. The skills I learn from that game helped me with the other games. Downfall to that is that I'm really good with handheld but suck with game consoles.

I saw a feature of HM64 in Nintendo Power. It looked so awesome.

The rest is history.

I was at a Gamestop after recently getting my fist Gameboy Advance, and was looking for a new game. A kid was playing AWL at the store, and I tried it out, decided I liked it, and later got a Gamecube and the game itself. After that I was immersed into the HM series and the rest is history. Though, I haven't played any games before AWL(though I've heard MFOMT is really good, too) I've gotten nearly every other game that has come out and loved them :)
