my friend told me about these games and how she hated them bc you have to get married ( i wanted to satisfy my romanitc cravings) , but I thoght that was interseting that a game had it so I looked it up on gamestop and did all the research and finally bought the HMDS Cute.
When I was a dumb little kid, I happened to come across the SNES game in my own home! I guess one of my elder siblings got it or something. After enjoying it, I was too dumb to know about franchises or whatever and forgot about it entirely. Years later, I saw FoMT at a store and was all like, "Is that Harvest Moon!? I recall playing that when I was like 2! I so didn't know there were MORE of them!!!! O___O" And that began my super Harvest Moon filled life!
I was at walmart and scanning the electronic isles and stopped in the game cube section of the video games. I saw how cute the cover for MM was and i had to get it. So i begged my parents to get it for me..... I got my little sister on the games too after that
I started playing on my snes emulator by myself and after that I played with my friend.
but once I heard a boy talking about the btn version, and then when my friend showed the btn version to me I got crazy because of the graphics XD

My friend had HMDS for her DS, and I used to play on it all the time. When we couldn't see each other any more, I bought the game so I could still remember her, and feel happiness while playing <3
*Sniff* im literally crying right now *Sniff* that's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet
Short version-
My friend had AWL and showed it to me while I was over her house. I got hooked and for Christmas that year my grandparents got me a gamecube. I traded my Animal Crossing game in for AWL and I was happy :D Been playin' 'em ever since.
I had heard AWL for GC was somewhat like Animal Crossing, minus the Real Time aspect. I rented it at first, and I became so addicted that I had to buy it. Afterwards I bought FoMT, but after a few months of playing, the cartridge broke. I also bought STH, but I didn't really care for it. Not to mention, I have some curse upon me where I wipe PS2 memory cards just by touching them. Not kidding. After that, I bought AnWL, but I thought the bachelor choices were mediocre. By that time MM had come out, so I got that one, and it's been my favorite of the series so far. I took a year or so off playing video games when I started college, but now I've just bought IoH, and I'm preparing my wallet for DS, Cute, RF, AP, and all the other games I haven't tried yet.
Looks like I'm going to need to get off my « Mr.Gourmet's hat » and find a job.

I just found out my new boss (I started a job in the college computer lab) likes HM. He keeps a Wii in his drawer there, and was at Comic-Con. I'm so stoked!

XD That's funny. I can see you and him playing the Wii in the classroom on your spare time. Haha.
My very first Harvest Moon game was FoMT. My cousin had brought with her on this trip we took and I played around with it for maybe ten or twenty minutes. I was probably around twelve, so I didn't really understand it that well. All I could remember about it was that I liked it, so I went out and got it from the local GameStop and have been a fan ever since.
