Lol i heard about it when mah brother got it when i was litteler and showed it to me... It was HM64 and that was a whhiiiillleeee ago!

Anyhow, mine was A Wonderful Life and I caught wind of it from watching much X Play back in the day.

They were cute
until i realised how long you have to spend petting them all.
didn't expect to find a serious strategy game underneath it all... well, you need a strategy to survive.
In pokemon games though! I was constantly begging my brother for a go. Finally he gave me his hand me down Silver. Now, on top of the silver i have Diamond and all the PKMN Rangers... enough to keep me going.

Petting them never really bothered me when I first started playing (though I'm not sure I always remembered to do so). Watering the crops two to three times a day because in AWL the sun dries up the plants was what got at me. I ended up selling fodder for a living, heh...
Pokemon is a bit off topic here, but that sounds an interesting way to have started out. Semi-nice brother you have there, and I say semi because you had to beg him so much apparently.

Long-story short;
My friend had HMDS for her DS, and I used to play on it all the time. When we couldn't see each other any more, I bought the game so I could still remember her, and feel happiness while playing <3

I never asked for anything. I would of done, because we only saw each other in the holidays, so I knew when we'd stop seeing each other, but on the last time I could go, my mother said I couldn't
Which resulted in me crying, because I was like "I never got to say good bye" and "I ever asked for her phone number, or email, or anything D:"
I even said, the last time I saw her "Don't be upset, I'll see you next time. <3"
But I didn't D;

As for me... I was practically drooling all over a friend of mine who had the AWL until she finally let me play it. From there, I actually went out to go and actually buy a Gamecube system, along with AWL and AnWL. So yeah. Harvest Moon was the real thing that got me into gaming outside of Pokemon. =X Which was a pretty large accomplishment at that time. xD

I was looking in the Argos catalogue at DS games, and saw HMDS and thought it looked like fun. So I asked my mum and dad to get it for me for my birthday. But they accidentally got me 2 copies, so I gave one to my sister ^^
