Recent things that have prevented you from playing? Not necessarily harvest moon, any game I guess, but seeing as I'm posting this in the Harvest Moon board...

I'm talking about things like not being able to find the game, not being able to find a gameboy, or the charger, or having work you need to do first...

I spent fifteen minutes looking for the damn game, then could only find my sister's copy. On playing, I found I had a file on year 2, which is awesome because I hate playing from the beginning when I just want some casual gameplay. However five minute sinto playing my sister came off the computer and wanted to use the gameboy, and as I was going on the computer it would be unfair for me to keep the gameboy. But now I am sad because I can't play harvest moon. ):

Recent bothers? Just complain about whatever. I just wanted to make a thread ranting about this. XD;

Nothing is preventing me from playing, except the game is getting boring.

Boredom prevents me from playing.
I can play games for record amounts of time, then lose interest until two weeks later.

Basically what everybody's already said: I get bored. There's usually nothing preventing me from playing, because even at my busiest I have time when I'm supposed to be sleeping. I move from game to game too quickly, especially in regular HM versus RF.

I'm not playing because it's gotten confusing! Yeah.... confusing. I'm in year four so I'm trying to prepare for the Shooting Star event and I have to figure out when to hire the sprites for watering and when for harvesting. I try to attempt in put it just gets to frusterating.

I try to train each sprite in a different area, watering or harvesting. Except for on your wedding day, animals is a waste of time, so I don't bother there. You train them by hiring them and having patience.

I usually have four sprites water/ three sprites harvest, or the other way around, depending upon how skilled they are. If you're hiring them long-term, hire them two at a time, as in:

Monday: hire a water and a harvest
Tuesday: water and harvest
Wednesday: water, harvest, and either a water or a harvest, depending upon which you have four of
Thursday: water and harvest

This way, they'll quit on different days, so your farm will never be without a workforce of slave labor. Remember to give them stuff, though--they like flour. Not flowers, as I once mistakenly though, but flour.

...With that out of the way, I'd save a bunch of jewelry, expensive gems, and pirate treasures if you have them.

Hmm.... Well, I realize that this is in the FoMT board, but still:

- The game seems to be getting somewhat boring (not really, though I just don't feel like playing it as I have two new games to play: Dogz for the DS and AWL for the GC).

- I want to be on my computer.

- I have other things to do, such as reading, writing, drawing, etc.

- MY LIFE. :O

I've been busy with College, I get on the internet a lot, and I haven't felt like playing the boy version of this game.

Boredom, playing other video games, the computer, and the lack of motivation to play again.

I haven't played FoMT for like, at least a year now. But I remember it so well, probably cause it was my first HM game xD
