Uhmm... question: if popuri and lila have pink hair ( is that nautral?), where does ricks dirty blonde come from? I mean it could always come from rod but...I always imagined Rod with black hair..... shmee.

The original (64) Rick had red hair, I believe...wasn't he part of the whole Doug-Ann-Gray family? Like a cousin?

I honestly have no idea where FoMT Rick's blond hair came from. His father, I suppose, or someone else in the extended family.

I'd guess that Rick just inherited that colour of hair from his dad. Harvest Moon games seem to follow that pattern where the daughters always look similar-ish to their mum, and then the sons look similar-ish to their dad.

That's the family tree for SNES/64. BTN/FoMT has different family situations.

i'm thinking that ann was named for her grandmother who was married to sabiara and had rick's dad [who ever he is] and doug.
doug then had ann and gray.
rick's dad married lillia and they had popuri and rick, which explains rick's hair which is red in DS and 64, he must have dyed it in FoMT.
i never heard of basil being rick's dad though.... *looks it up* in FoMT, he's married to Anna and his daughter is Mary. nothing about him being rick and popuri's dad
