Your dog will grow up by the end of Summer, so Fall 1st. Your horse will grow up by the beginning of your second Year, at the same time Barley came to give you the horse the first year, if it has enough hearts, I think it needs over 5.
Huh, that's odd. o.o You sure it hasn't grown up? If it doesn't have enough hearts I think you see a cutscene where the dog gets ill and you take it to Doctor.

Come to think of it, I haven't noticed my dog grow up, either... I think you can check by talking to Won. If he has the dog ball for sale, them the dog's grown up. Amirite?

As long as your dog doesn't have a bandanna around his neck and you are able to buy the Dog Ball and the Frisbee, you dog is grown up.
