Decreasing Affection.

I know I can't stack gifts to make the girls like me, but can I stack gifts to make them hate me?
I'm trying to get Popsy to hate me so I can pair her off with Kai, and I want to know if I can give her Wine in one fell swoop or if I have to spread it over a few days.

I don't think so, i think the rules are the same as giving gifts to to poeple that they like, including, if you give a girl something they hate on their birthday, the effect will be multiplied 5 times, (so if the gift normally does -500, then it'll be [-500]x[+5]= -2500 LP) if it's close to her birthday, then give her something she really hates, make it wrapped, and that'll affect LP a LOT.

But then I rememeber something, i rememeber there was a chart somewhere, and on it, it said the amount of LP gained/dropped form showing the girls your animals, i remembered that showing Popuri a dog would make her LP go down a lot, then i found the chart i was looking for:

As you can see, showing her a dog will lower her LP by 2500, if it's her birthday, then you get 5x the effect, so showing her a dog will lower her LP by 12,500 LP.
Unfortunatly, you can't wrap the dog, if you could, the gift would have 6.25x the effect if given on her birthday, and the dog would probably suffocate.

You could put holes in the wrapping, or put the dog in a box and poke holes in the box. I'm pretty sure wrapping paper lets the air through.

Do you really need to decrease affection to pair Popuri off with Kai? I thought just seeing all four rival events would suffice.

Sadly stacking gifts doesn't effect them as much if I remember correctly. It halves the effect of the second gift. Such as gift one was 800 LP, gift two 400 LP, et cetera.

It is most likely the same with negative LP gifts, but I would test it by watching her heart level to see what happens when you spam talk to her with the dog in your hands.

Do you really need to decrease affection to pair Popuri off with Kai? I thought just seeing all four rival events would suffice.

You have to have her at a black heart to see the black rival heart event, blue for blue (although sometimes it will trigger early), green for green, and orange for orange. Just a little something that must be done along with it being at least year 2 to see blue, year 3 to see green and year 4 to see the orange rival event.

I haven't married Mary yet since I wanted to pair everyone else off first. Poprui is still at Yellow for me since I did all her events, and I haven't done any KaixPopuri events so she need to be Black Heart pretty fast.

No, what happens is the first gift of the day to the girl will affect LP and FP, and the other gifts just affect FP.
For FP, the first gift has full effect, then the next one has 1/3 the effect, and so on.

Just for fun, I bought 99 flours at a time, and just kept dumping it in the supermarket-- before you know it, she'll be back at a little grey heart. </3
I'd only do that if you're so desperate to do it right away rather than giving her her least favorite gifts, 'cause I don't think Jeff would be too happy if you did that, either.
