Only AWL/AnWL and StH had the endings. The rest of HMs don't have. You can play as long as you wish. However, it is boring :/
Some people play them because they wanna have a super-perfect file with the full shipping/cooking/mining/fishing list, etc. However, like I said before - it is boring
