I gotta say...MFoMT was a remake of BTN: For Girl to begin with...which was remade for the PSP, along with the boy version. So..a remake of a remake seems highly unlikely, especially since a remake is already being made.
...Even though, there are differences in MFoMT that make it a lot better. ((Selling to Won and playing past marriage, to name a few.))
DS is, in a way, a remake of this game. Just, you know, with different character art, crappier festivals, and a different town. The graphics are the same, and a lot of the farming/mining « Cow Poopoo » is the same.
I think these characters have been tortured enough, thanks.
As much as I'd love to see it happen, I really doubt it ever will. :< They seem to be focusing on newer things now, even though the characters in this game were amazing.
But I guess, like Princess Keira said, they probably wouldn't do all the people much justice if they made a remake.
Well HMDS and DSC are kinda the remakes,
It would of been cool to be able to see Zack, Carter, And other villagers though.

I don't see a horribly obvious point to it, other than to satisfy fans. Honestly, loved the controls on the game. If they made it awkward as they have in the last two DS HM games, I'd be rather disappointed.
I think it would be cool, but what would they do? It would probably just be the same game, but with DS controls, and personally, I like these ones better.
