I haven't played any handheld HM games since FOMT. I was looking forward to this game but is it worth it if IGN gave it's previous title a mediocre score? I think I will wait for Rune Factory 3 instead now. ^_^

Sunshine Islands is an improvement on IoH. There are more things you can do, a new bachelor, a new bachelorette, new controls, more events... Just an improvement overall. And you shouldn't pay that much attention to IGN's scores. Whether you like the game or not is a matter of opinion really, and people normally criticise Harvest Moon as being repetitive and boring. I don't think it's that at all.

It's against the rules to tell you whether to buy it or not because it's entirely your choice. If you enjoyed FoMT, chances are you'll enjoy this as well. :D

That old review for IoH was done by someone who clearly did not want to write it, and prefers the Rune Factory series.

Please do not compare Sunshine Islands to IoH. People reading your topic may assume that the review is for SI and not for IoH.
