No, because I don't think they choose the rights, it's which company decides THEY want to localize it. Marvelous doesn't control that, but they still give them the rights.
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was a game they localized. I don't remember if Princess Debut was one. I thought it was NIS.

Natsume did Princess Debut xD
Atlas does the Persona series and all kinds of stuff.

I wouldn't mind if Atlus took it. In fact, I'd be fairly happy, considering I'm a heavy fangirl of them.

Let us all e-mail Marvelous in protest not to hire Natsume for Rune Factory. They did stop letting them localize it for a reason after all.
Ah, after a google search it appears Natsume localized Princess Debut.
I remember Atlas localizing games back to Rhapsody A Musical Adventure for the PSX. They just do such marvelous work.

maybe Ignition Entertainment? they are taking all XseeD games lately -.-'', and i, sadly, cant see atlus doing it =(

Is that really Natsume's fault if the game was already cheesy o.o

They actually translated that game very well.
They just seem to fail with Harvest Moon games.

I liked Princess Debut, as well, and I couldn't really tell anything wrong they did, but for some reason, they aren't the best with HM/RF games. They can go ahead and do other games, because the others seem fine(I even have some Hamtaro games from them that I enjoy), but I'd prefer if someone else took this series. That's just how I feel when it comes to that.

nah nah. i liked Priness Debut too...it's just some of the cheesy parts just...amused me. xD
like Cesar's partnership with you. i loved it. in amusingly funny ways and 'oh i love him' ways.

I don't really care who localizes the game as long as they get it done in a reasonable amount of time and do a good job. Which probably means not natsume.
