CHARMANDER.
Bulbasaur is ugly...and I like dragons waaaaaaaaaay more than turtles.
Now that I think about it, I almost always pick a fire type: Charmander, Cyndaquil, and sometimes Torchic/Chimchar. I love Piplup cause Empoleon is awesome. Totodile and Mudkip are okay, too, not my faves, but they're alright.
I will almost never choose a Grass-Type starter. The only one I like is Treecko, maybe Chikorita.

I love them all, but Bulbasaur was my first
Squirtle Squad is pretty kickass though. Hard decision.
