What are you gonna do on your first profile when the game comes out? I'm gonna get used to the new controls a bit and then start a permanent profile...
Take a tour around the islands that are available of course!
During that tour I would see how running with the D-pad is as opposed to the touch screen. I have actually gotten used to touch screen running so I may continue to use a stylus for the game if it allows it (Damn you Island of Happiness, you broke my mad directional pad skills!).
Since I'm used to both using my directonal pad and touch screen, I won't have to worry about that.
I would like to look around the islands, I want to be able to get the feel of where everything is all at. :3
Ah, I still have my D-pad skills, but I constantly find myself trying to play Rune Factory on the DS with my stylus. Then it feels odd when I use the D-pad / R shoulder button.
Island of Happiness pretty much set me into stone with that stylus pattern and won't let go. >_<
Really? I haven't had it happen in any of my RF games.
Surprisingly, I'm able to adjust between the two without much trouble. Ahaha, I feel like I'd be the sort of person that would want to stick to one and just one, and totally forget about the other. XD

Probably what puts me off is the speed difference between Raguna and Mark/Chelsea since Island of Happiness lets you run faster. I feel like I could do more with a stylus which is quite quite silly.
Aha ha.. Getting everyone to the island will be the second thing I do.

Ahh, I hate having to hold down the R button while moving him to get him to run. It was annoying, since my characters are always on the move. I wish they would've made it a bit of an easier transition. o3o

Bahh, I just get paranoid that my R button is going to go out on me, so that ties into it, but still... I would've liked going into running easier. XD
When I first got RF2, I did the same thing for awhile. XD
I can see why you would worry with all the fretful talk about sticky shoulder buttons around here. It is not like you are constantly clicking it like in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories though, so I would fret not!
