You only have to give them hate gifts if y'want to marry them off BEFORE you're married. Like I did. XD

I usually woo at least three of em at a time

Some of em I just want to see get with their rivals, so I don't touch em. Others I can't stand... but the rest I always get to red heart xD

They only start having rival events after you are married though.
I'm most normally the first one on the island to get hitched with someone, since I'm not that patient. xD

am I the only one who imagines other scenes with the girls? [not in the dirty way x_x] but before I marry them, I actually imagine having a conversation with them. xD that's another reason why I get them all to red, because it's cool seeing the different personalities.

o_O It's been a while since I was really active on this forum but I am fairly certain their heart status still stands even after you get married and can't see them anymore. So... IIRC... if you had everyone on a red heart, then got married, yes you will still have to lower their heart level for them to be able to have the rival orange heart events (and rival green heart events if necessary) and finally get married.

I did the same, got everyone to red heart, but then I had to wait until year 5 to marry the goddess anyway so everyone else got married in year 4 before I did (and I had to lower them back down to orange first and all).

You need to remember however, not to raise Ann's heart too fast in the first year unless you plan on marrying her.
Ann and Cliff's events are a « Baaaa *glomp* », because they have very specific time periods when you have to do them.

The fact that after the Fall Harvest you can't get them married unless you have seen the events already is a pain DX

I don't think I'm even going to get them married anymore. Ann just had her baby and I honestly skipped through all of it because I'm just burnt out. Maybe in a little while. If I really do have to lower them, then I don't think it will happen.
