I don't believe them o_o.
Earlier I called them and they told me they had in stock. I drive there and they hand me the correct gameguide (Sunshine Islands), and then attempted to sell me "Frantic Farming." I show them that that's the wrong game, and they are like, "O, your right. That is different than the gameguide. Sorry. Well it'll probably be in later today or tomorrow." UGGG!!!

I went to best buy, and they tried to sell me Frantic Farming too! XD

It happened to you too!?!? It is really frustrating.
They also tried to sell me Call of Duty when I called the store. I asked if the new harvest moon for the ds was released and the first thing they said to me was, "Did you mean Call of Duty. That game was released today and we have it in stock."

WOW. Call of duty =/= Harvest Moon. Big difference there.

I went into Walmart today to see if it was in. They tried selling me Harvest Moon DS...
From what you guys are saying, it sounds like all of these retailers are silly.
...and the ones that tried to sell you call of duty should be smacked.
Personally, the worst I've had is buying a game new and it had actually been opened, Gamestop employees constantly try to take advantage of me and sell me the guide as well saying that, "This game is extremely difficult and it's just one of those games you can't play without the guide" (basically saying that I look incompetent) and pricing things way higher than they should be.
I've turned to ordering online.
Edit: I forgot to mention that every time I went they'd try to add SOMETHING on whether it's a magazine subscription, membership, or whatever.
I just called my Gamstop and the lady there was actually kindof helpful.
She said that they should be getting them in by friday, and was notified of this by an email from corporate.
I live on the westcoast so I dont know how long itll take the eastcoasters to get their games.
However I am still going to be calling in about 3 times tomorrow to see if they have finally gotten it so I dont have to wait for friday evening.
At least when I went in this morning they gave me my so cute, soft and cuddly piggy. My 3 year old daughter has adopted it though so I get little snuggling with it to console the dissapointment of no game yet before she asks for it back.

That is horrible! Especially selling a "new" game that's been opened!

No, I'm not going to take a picture of it. I don't see what good that will do you. I can't be bothered. I've got better things to do.
I resent being considered a liar, when I haven't done anything mean to you all. Guess I'll just go back to lurking here and not post anymore.
Walmart and Best Buy were VERY uninformative and even rather rude.
I went to HMV and they took my name and number and are to call me when the games (SI and AP) come in.
I bet this store here called "Play Me" has a copy of both, but they specialize in having games that are hard to obtain, and in turn they way overcharge for them.
