i don't understand why a lot of people get married really quickly to a regular girl and then complain that the game gets boring soon after marriage, but then turn around and say that they would never think of having the goddess as a wife because she doesn't live with you. @___@ i'm not saying that you are doing that, but it seems like a very common mindset. why not go for the challenge? you will be less likely to get bored.
now, everyone has different tastes when playing the game, but i think that having a wife that lives with you vs. a wife that doesn't is overrated.
You see the thing is, if I was a person who wanted to complete the game and see every single aspect of it, I would not need marrying the Harvest Goddess as a motivation. I would just do it.
I mean even if the other wives are dumb and repetitive it kind of feels like your HM character is living with another character. Whereas if you married the Harvest Goddess it feels as though you've never married at all. Plus the other candidates actually have a variety of dialogue besides "Do you want to connect to a Gamecube?" or "btw I liked the last offering you gave me"
Barring the later versions of the HM Goddess (which I think made her cuter "DUM-DA-DA-DAAAAAAAAAA~~~"), FoMT Goddess is way too serious for my liking. Even the FoMT town MILFs are far better than the Goddess.

But that's why instead of finding out and memorizing the exact time and places for rival heart events and getting them done was soon as possible, I'm just going to stumble around and let them happen on their own. Then it'll keep the game more interesting for longer, because I rushed into marriage.
I've found all the heart events randomly except the PopuriXkai ones ... those are hard ... and I'm to busy on my farm so I can't just go to town and mingle with people :s

I think that the harvest goddess is NICE, but the one from TOT is gorgeous! All the FoMT sprites look mad .. especially Elli ... « What The Eggplant »? she looks at me with this evil glare!
I prefer anna, Lillia is just annoying .. although she would be the easiest to have an affair with, ya'know?

I think Mana is quite charming tho and she frequently breaks the 4th wall which is creepy. whenever i give her a present she says "don't just give the bachelorettes coz you can marry them" and "is this a I give someone therefore I must give everyone something thing?"
It might seem she talks alot but actually it's abt the same as everyone except her text is made to run at a slower pace compared to other's.

Hey I had this weird idea coz Basil was Lilia's husband in 64 and Mary was the Mayor's daughter right? So I was wondering what if the storyline was like that: "Anna the Mayor's previously unnamed wife divorced Mayor Thomas coz she couldn't stand him. Gained custody of Mary and seduced Basil off to the city. Lilia met Rod who is also a semi-plant freak but they had too many chickens and had to set up a poultry farm"
