Dose anyone know why...
They change all the time my dear Lin! For example the melding of the SNES Harvest Moon and Save the Homeland into Magical Melody was rather innovative.
Currently they are swapping around the towns in games more than they did back in the day of Forget-Me-Not Valley and Mineral Town being reused in many titles. Don't even get me started on the Flower Bud Village -> Mineral Town transition though, as that was butchery.
Anyhow, it is nothing that isn't good what they are doing currently! SugarTown is an amazing remake of Save the Homeland along with Sunshine Islands and Animal Parade of course. I hope they keep it up with the changing locals in between entirely new casts such as in Wind Bazaar and Twin Villages.

why would you want the same game released twice?
but then again i bought fomt and mfomt so who knows.
lots of changes have been made. depending on how long youve been playing hm, the more youll know about that.
natsume as a way of releasing almost the same game with a few improvements that shouldve been included originally. its aggravating and i wish theyd get it right the first time.
