There are 4 kids designs, and they only change hair/eye color based on spouse.

If you play as a boy and marry Renee your children would likely look similar to the MC.

Theres game art of MC look alike kids like in the official guide but nope it's impossible.

And a little question: Is it possible to take all four pets, both children, and your husband for a walk all at once? And if so, does whichever one is stuck at the end of the group lose points for being too far behind?

Well I know you can take both children on a walk at once so you can take at least 2. Not sure how big a group you can take though.
