ANOTHER QUESTION: Is there such a thing as negative heart points? Whenever I unlock the wizard I want to get my fortune read, just to see what happens, and I'm hoping (since it makes his heart go down) that if I do it before I give him anything there'll be no ill effects, since he'll already be at zero. Would that work?

I'm assuming giving him a gift would either cancel out the negative effect or raise his level-- but if you continued to get your fortune read after that and then give him a gift [over the span of the calendar] it would probably just keep you at the same level with him until you no longer requested a fortune.

And wow, really? Somebody actually drew that? That's no good-- Maya might not be a good cook, but she's not stupid and her peeing on a snowcone is probably the most OOC thing I've heard about a HM character in a long time. :/

Flute Fields is south/southeast of your farm. You go there to get to Marimba Farm and Horn Ranch. It's opposite the direction to Harmonica Town.

Yay! You've spoken to the people at Marimba and Horn, right? I'm assuming the only reason he won't give you the whistle is because you hadn't talked to everybody yet, but if Toby was the only one, you should be good to go!
