Why can't I get into Fugue forest? I have the axe, but when I go to the gate it's still locked. Cher's site says I have to have the axe. I need to go rescue Dale's idiot son (I lol'd when he said that)

Nope, you can do the yellow bell and the red bell... I found the yellow bell and then did the red bell's events while I was waiting for night so I could do the yellow bells. You collect moonlight between 18:00 and 24:00.
LOL his head did look kindof big in the cinema scene, but he looks normal in the actual game. Plus, he's still the hawtest. xD
In order to unlock Fugue Forest, you have to do the Green Bell event. :]
I unlocked Fugue Forest after the Yellow Bell. I just went into Horn Ranch and got the event where I was prompted to meet Cain, then had to go talk to Dale for the key, and then went back and unlocked it successfully.
Fun note, my mom just offered to get me the game as a early christmas present but I turned her down somewhat. Not only was it because I feel a bit selfish(I got enough games honestly.. and there is school) but with her hard working and money and what not, I rather not ask her for more then I already have(The Drama program I'm in costs tons so..@_@)
Ah Christmas is still near though..

I'm having trouble with the red bell quest. I've found the bell's stand in the mine, and spoken to Ramsey who told me to find Chloe. However, no matter how often I walk by the General Store, I can't seem to find her! I've tried it at different hours of the day. The only thing I can think of that might be wrong is that it has rained every day so far, and maybe she doesn't play outside when it rains? Still, the rain hasn't affected any other cut scenes. Has this happened to anyone else?

Walk towards Dales Carpentry, not the General Store.

I'm thinking about restarting xD I screwed up big time. I only have 15G left I bought the TV though and got to see Gillz <3 Plus I named my Farm 'Flute Farm' without realizing that, that was the name of the field right next to it.

How quickly can you ACTUALLY meet him? The guide mentions that if you stay up until 2AM you can get into his house, but is he in there? Can you give him gifts right away?
