first impression of si?

so people should be getting the game soon now if they havent already~
whats your first impressions now that youve got your hands on it and are playing?

i never played ioh, so i cant really compare it. and im only on spring 10, lol.
i dont like how short the days are....it makes everything seemed rushed and stressful. having to run back and forth to the cafe/diner to keep up my stamina just to water my fields everyday...really annoying. and that items with like, that exact same quality, freshness etc dont always stack, making my rucksack explode. i havent had any time to talk to villagers or anything yet because by the time im done with me crops its time to sleep

Just got to 9th, new harvest sprite system seems intresting. MUCH better than IoH....less guessing if the item will go into the shipping bin and better use of quick slots.

Only came across one glitch. In place if "ge" of "Large", it could change the icon to a grass/glitch/different letters. Think 'M from the original Pokemon.

Ohh, I got the game today! xD It's pretty cool so far, the island and houses look a lot better than they did in IoH. I didn't meet Lily yet, but I didn't realize her name is spelt with two Ls, not one! I'll be playing this probably all night, I'll update later...

Like everyone else, much much better than ioH. The sprite system is easy to understand, for me who's been playing for about 12 hours straight, and the controls are a breath of fresh air.

I can't say much more than that so far, but I'm really enjoying it.

Haha, same here, I already like it more than IoH, and I'm only on Spring 7th. Haha, it'll be much cooler once I unlock more islands.

I didn't even get very far in IoH because of the fail controls.

I love this one, and the even the subtle changes like UI make it seem like a greater game. Is it just me or are the graphics nicer, too?

I can't wait to kidnap Vaughnie- I mean, er... give him items daily and win him over. Then kidnap him. Yeah. 8D

Ahh, I got too used to the IoH controls, that I'm still using them in SI. Haha, I'm kidnapping Lilly, though it will take a while wooing her because she likes expensive things.

I've only really seen this game from the millions of vids I've spied on youtube... when they pop up that is. But really, thats my first impression <3

And the control system does look a lot easier and much more easier then in IoH.
I've got good feedback that the island layout is pretty refreshing to.
I thought the time seemed to flow the same pace as normal IoH games though, but mind you, my observations and understanding is poor.

i really like it so far. i'm at spring 16 at the moment. i like the fact that it has d-pad/button controls but it actually seems easier to forage/harvest with the stylus.

i still don't have the game, but knowing it went back to old style controls(while still keeping the stylus for those measly 1% who prefer it) was a great choice, can't wait to play D:

same here, im doing this bizarre mish mosh of ioh and si controls lol. i LOVE the sort feature and LOVE the shipping now. so far so good, but the days are a tad quick.
