Just my two cents for all the people who complain that using an AR for this specific game ruins the game.
You have to spend a few billions just to build and upgrade a barn, when one crop sells for a hundred G + a pathetic way to improve your stamina so you cannot reasonably water more than 20 squares per day without spending all the money you make in a week on a one day food... Not to mention a huge amount of lumbar that you physically cannot chop down unless you do nothing else for weeks. Besides, the crops are growing poorly due to the incredible weather points system. I mean... to just add one stupid feeding box costs 8,500G and 100 lumbar!! If this doesn't spoil a HM game, then what does...
Please.
I think they designed the game mechanics, then they prayed that gamers will use an AR to get some proper ingame money before they feel like throwing the game in the bin...

LOL... You seriously need some more HM training... Your "two cents" is the worst I read in defense of using AR... For the record its only 500 if you have 100 Lumber...

Me too man D: Damn you, down under!

The only reason I'm getting an R4 is for what it was originally made for; more save files and backup.

R4s/<b>Very Bad Things™</b> are indeed illegal. They are, after all, basically stealing the game. When you download the game for free rather than buying the game developer gets nothing for the game they made. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but game companies are made up of people who need money to pay the bills too. When they don't get paid for their efforts, that isn't right.

Cheating is something else entirely. Let's say you've bought your game. You've bought your AR. There's nothing illegal about using one on the other. You can do so, if you wish to.
I'm assuming you're explaining this to the preteens and not to me.

The only thing I ever use my AR for is either weather mods, or max stamina/fullness. Everything else, I try to do myself. If I get REALLY frustrated, I'll use a max heart code on a player I need to get an animal, but NEVER for bachelors/bachelorettes. So, I try to keep my AR stuff to a minimum.

For the most part, yes.

cheats... for Harvest Moon?
I don't really understand why you would need cheats for a game as easy as Harvest Moon
building your farm up from nothing is really the whole point of it
sure, SI is the hardest Harvest Moon I've played, but it's still pretty damn easy
yeah, the stamina bar sucks, but just run to the dinner or cafe and buy something to eat
but, it's you choice to use them or not

Considering that cheating isn't always "ZOMG INFINITE GOLD AND INFINITE EVERYTHING MAX AFFECTION PLUS ALL ITAMZ MAX AND EVERY NUMBER MAX" stuff.
Sorry but if you truly believe that, you're a idiot.

A bunch of people asked me to make them a variety of codes since they didn't like the original ones
a) the weather code didn't actually change the EFFECT just the animation so I made a "Weather next Day" code
This for one saves you the trouble of nearly infinitely saving, sleeping 5 days and then going back and doing a day. Not to mention that it puts off the horrible nonsense that is typhoons. If the game relies heavily on crops like this, controlling the weather is a BIG thing but it still means that if you don't work hard you get zilch
b) for another set of people, a Jump to X Hour code. Sure this essentially is unlimited time and gives you the ability to do as much in a day as you want. Given your stamina as limit.

I myself like to use those two in combination and thats about it. I don't have the patience to save, reload, save, reload just because the developers went a little overboard with their weather and crop system, sorry.
I still have to plant my stuff, have to care for it and raise affection with people and whatever.

You "OMG AR IS EVIL SO EVIL YOU GONNA GO TO HELL" people don't realize that while it is true that cheating isn't in the intend of the developers, for people to have fun is. And if people enjoy a game they usually wouldn't with a few cheats, they dear « Harvest Goddess », why nail them on the cross for that?

Think before you act, seriously.

Also, on another note
The whole "zomg AR will ruin your game / screw up your game" thing is only true if used by incompetent and idiotic people who go overboard.

Well for your information, I do have an AR!!! Usually for the other games and cheats, it requires you to hit select and left or something. You don't have to insult others for asking questions!!!!!!

I do have to insult people for STUPID questions. There is no D1 activator / Joker code, so obviously there is no activator button for those codes.

By the way are most of those codes either ASM hacks from the japanese codes or made by people on gbatemp / kodewerx
so people claiming "I found some more" they're just stealing the work of hard working code hackers.
I am not supporting garbarge like that.
