Cyndaquil or Chikorita?

D: What an unfair choice.

Through all the games, I've always stuck with fire as my main, but...

Chikorita's so cute...

I'm ordering one from Amreica (so I'm guaranteed to get the Game Corner in case they try to pull a Platinum) and have Chikorita on there, then I'll buy the other in England and have Cyndaquil on that one.
Totodile is not cute therefore it does not get picked.

I am definitely chosing chicorita. not because I hate cyndaquil, but because I hate todadile so much I do not want to see it during rival battles!!!

I've never trained a Totodile, so I might just go with him to see how he does.

My little brother had a shirt when he was little that had the Totodile evolution line on it and it said "Totodile", "Croconaw", and "Feraligator".

Shirt fail.

Wow a lot of people hate the Totodile line-up here. Not surprised though, girl population on here outweighs the guys and most girls only want 'cute' Pokemon. Although I've seen on other places that Chikorita is the least-liked, but not hated.

And then everyone absolutely loves Cyndaquil minus me. XD Feraligatr has been my absolute favorite for a long time and I also love Meganium.

I find feraligatr awesome. I have no idea how anyone could dislike that powerhouse ): It's just that I am in love with FIAR and find typhlosion amazing ): I'm not a big fan of quilava, but I love cyndaquil and typhlosion.




The GS starter I dislike most is Chikorita.

Seed necklace, flowers, then BIG BULKY GRASS THING LOL.

Horrible creature.

It's true that I only like cute pokemon, but my idea of cute is different than most peoples.

Cute: Onix, metagross, voltorb, bug pokemon, etc.

Not cute: Marill, Chimchar, Pichu, Etc.

Anyhoo, I'm really looking forward to march 14th (that's the official american release date).
I'm going to stick with cyndaquil this time. Mainly because I need something to replace growlithe (since I'll be getting SoulSilver), but also because I've always done full runs with Totodile, and one full run with Chikorita.
I've only chosen Cyndaquil on a few mini-runs, up to Morthy or so.

I like all the Johto Starters I just go back to the one I've used when I played this game back on GBC. That was Cyndaquil. Chikorita is next in line if I want something different in grass-types. Totodile, I vaguely recall, I did use a Totodile once, loved it to death. But never went back to him as a starter. Hm, maybe I'll chose him the next time I delete my Heart Gold game.

Ah, but here is the kicker. Everyone has their own definition of what is "cute" and what is not. For example with me I find Giratina cute opposed to those who think the pokemon is "scary".

Typhlosion (male), Lapras (male), Dragonite (female), Sunflora (female), Tyranitar (male), Butterfree (female). This was my original starting out team for my HG game. Now, its my all dragon-type team for the second time around with the gyms, and beating Red.

Hehehe, actually the bug pokemon are very cute - Shuckle, Weedle, Caterpie, Wurmple, Combee, Metapod, Kricketot, Kricketune, Ledyba, Burmy etc.

Even though I'm a bit freaked out by bugs, mostly spiders, in reality. xD

It's a shame that they tend to have lower stats or more weaknesses.

I think Camerupt is cute, which my brother says is weird. xD
