I don't plan my teams either.

I just know that I'll have a Mareep and a Chikoritaaaaa.
And I'm a B Button Club member, so I'll only have powerful babies on my team ;D

Its supposed to be march 14th

Sorry for changing the subject, but does anyone know if they kept the shiny pokemon in this game like in the original with the gold crabby and red gyarados?

Also wondering if the pokegear is the same with the cell phone and such

and , I watched a few preview videos at gamestop. and it looks like your character makes footstep sounds..now is it just me or do you think that will get annoying really fast. And in one of the videos it showed all the tree's in fall..does this game have seasons or something?

I don't think they'd change the shiny's colour, because the shiny colour is 'official'

They keep the same colour, but the shading often changed from version to version.

Yeah I knew that much. i just wanted to know fi you can still get them for sure like int he original like when you smashed the rocks on the beach on Olivine city you always found the shiny krabby. same with the red gyarados. Just wanted to see if those events were still in this one

As far as I can remember you could. There was someone at the beach that talked about a shiny krabby..then you smashed a few rocks and it appeared

Ok good. Now that I think about it there was a bit of hinting in diamond/pearl and platinum that they were re-making gold and silver. because in platinum your watching the hunt for red gyarados at the beginning and then in Sunyshore city Jasmine is there from Olivine and says she wishes you knew about the Johto region

I'm very psyched for this game! Although I can't decide whether I want Chikorita or Totodile as my starter...hmm...

I also plan on getting the Pikachu-colored Pichu at the in-store event coming up. It'll be my first exclusive event Pokemon!
