Hmm... odd. I started a boy file with the Wii set to the 19th so I could have the Starry Night Festival but... when I made it to the 22nd it didn't happen. I have two theories for this: One, I didn't actually meet everyone by then, mainly the children, and Two, the events actually happen a set amount of time after you start. I'm going to restart the boy file for the 18th since I forgot I need an extra day for the little ones. I was hoping to get some scripts and see how many festivals I can find since there doesn't seem to be much info on it. Not like anyone cares...

Well, I started when the game came out and I got the Starry Night Festival today, so it probably is set to the number of days after you start.

Hmm, that makes sense. I'll test it out, but it has been 6 days since the game came out and I originally got the Starry Night Festval 6 "days" after I started. I'll just see how it goes. I have way too much time on my hands...

I have had zero festivals since I started the game. Jarvis only recently told me that he was going to activate festivals, and none have occurred since then.

Rebecca came to me after I closed up my shop saying she wanted to do the Starry Night Festival. Maybe you haven't served enough customers or something. o_o;

ah, thank you. maybe im not playing each game long enough...i usually play all three each day and usually play each one 5 or 6 times. or maybe its because i play at night. perhaps it depends on the time of day or how many upgrades you have for te mini games...or a combo of all of them...hmmm....

i havent had a chance to play today so i guess ill see what happens when i play tonight.

I love Maya. She visited today: "Hmmm? You! You smell... DELICIOUS! Er, oops! Ignore what I said! I musta sounded like I'm off my rocker!" and then she later said, "I could just devour you right here and now! Oh, but I won't! Don't worry!" So funny.

And I wish that Popuri would say more than "I wonder if there are any good stores here..." because it's breaking my heart not being able to talk to her properly. OH WELL.

I really adore this game, besides the icecream making mini-game. I spent five minutes trying to make my first ice-cream cone. Karen was piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiised.
HOWEVER I was really looking forward to getting hitched in this game. alas...
I figured I should ask...on the japanese site...what do the hearts next to the names mean? Has anyone figured that one out yet :?: I still feel like that gives me a bit of hope...that MAYBE you can get married. lol ignorance is bliss, right?

oh and I'm quite excited about Popuri being her old 64 self. She has always been my favorite person to hand the blue feather to. period.

Okay, so on my 18th start date save, I met everyone in town and still didn't get the Starry Night Festval on the 22nd. On my 23rd start date save I didn't get it on the 29th but it was raining. Jarvis did show up to say he'll look for festivals though. On the 16th start date save on the 29th I had the mayor showed up and said he found a festival. I won't spoil it but I lost and Ellen, Elli's grandma showed up. That was 13 days after the start date so make of it what you will. So far I cannot figure the festivals dates out. But I can figure out that I suck at the chicken-laying-egg game.

The hearts might mean that they were previous candidates and for the new ones new candidates for later games? Pshyah, right.
It probably just means who you can go to festivals with.

Antoine+ette= Antoinette? Er, nice.
Someone help me on pronouncing that lol

Ant-wa-net. Or Ant-ah-net. Not sure how you'd ACTUALLY pronounce it. Best ways I can give to pronounce it. The 'oi' in it is pronounced in that French way, like Fransoise or Bourgeois.

Yeah, hearts just mean that you can like befriend them and go to the 'romantic' festivals with them and that you can have special friendship or... something. Which leads me to believe that add-on Popuri CANNOT BE LIKE THAT. WHICH WOULD MAKE ME VERY UPSET.

I pronounce it An-Twan-Ette or An-Twa-Nette like that one famous frech lady whom my brain is currently not giving me. It's been a while. And it is the 30th and no new festivals, sigh... I don't like not knowing these things.

Antoinette? As in Marie Antoinette? *learning about the French revolution*
