I just started playing and I haven't gotten too far as I'm busy. But I love it. The mini games are annoying once your like on your third or fourth customer but I still love the game. I've only got the juice mini game, egg decoration and ice cream one. I suck at the egg decoration, which is odd cause I thought I'd to just fine with that one and not the ice cream one which on my first tries I was HORRID at. And now I like the ice cream one best and I'm pretty good at it.

Anyways I just got Choco. I've seen what characters we can get so far from the actual site, but Choco is mah fave. Why? I've put so much time into HM1-3 and I love em a lot. So it was very nostalgic seeing her x3

I remember seeing her reservation, and it was before I spoiled myself with who we can get so far. I was like WAIT A MINUTE ISN'T THAT...? OMG IT IS.

How do you unlock the windmills?

So far it seems random. I have unlocked 2 windmills and I only have 11 regular customers. And I've only triggered one festival. Currently I only consider myself good at the juice shop. (Horrible at ice-cream and I'm slowly improving my egg decoration skills).

And do you think the add-on expansion is worth the money?

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the amount of regulars you have, because I had 21 when I unlocked the second and I know people have gotten the 2nd with way less than that.

My educated guess is that every time you level up customer status (New-frequent-regular) with either Jarvis, Gourmet, or Takakura you get closer to unlocking a windmill. It happened for me both times the day after one of them spoke to me about how my shop was doing better (Also this was after Gourmet became a regular). I had Takakura talk to me again today about how he won't tear down the shop, so if I get the third windmill tomorrow I think I'll be sure about this theory.

Also, anyone know how you make the upgrade shop sell the decorations?

That makes sense. When Gourmet and Takakura complimented my shop soon after I got my windmills unlocked.

I don't know how to upgrade shop sell the decorations. Sorry.

Still not too much of a challenge, tho. I'm starting to really like the ice cream mini game. The egg game kills me.

I don't mind the egg mini-game with the regular chickens and Silkie chickens, it's the Quails that are my problem. =/ They're just too tiny for me to follow them.

Sometimes the scoring on this game makes absolutely no sense to me. I mean, I'll play the juicing game and have to do two of... pretty much the exact same thing, and yet on one of them I get lower skill even though everything else was exactly the same.

And I still only have 3 windmills at the moment. Come on, Gourmet, come back to Clover Village... XD

Same with me! Those chickens just move too fast! I just usually guess the right side chicken and sometimes the left and hope I'm right...

The ice-cream game is hard for me! I don't know why I can't get the ice-cream to come in the shape I want.

Working in retail around this time of year is not good for my little shop!

I've been playing pretty much routinely and finally beat the game. Except I missed two days, and ironically, those were two days that Lanna had reservations. XD I thought that she was cursed from coming to my town until I actually was able to make her reservation.

I haven't bothered with the Egg Set, just the Juice Set is good for me. So glad that I can finally talk to Popuri properly. I hope that you can give her the Clover Necklace, too, but I doubt it.

My first Clover Necklace went to Elli (because I just HAD to choose someone from Flower Bud and she's my second favorite), and then gave another one to Celia yesterday, because she's a lot like Popuri. I also had the choice of the Witch and Karen. Need to talk to the girls more. XD

I finally had the Starry Night festival today. Cecil and I went to check out the meteor shower at Clover Hill.

Skye also has a "guide" like Popuri does. Skye says he's part of the Egg Guide, and told me my store was only worth one star. Popuri really hasn't said anything about my Juice Guide star numbers, but she hasn't been in town for awhile now. I had to set my shop to use the Egg pieces to get Skye to talk about being a part of the Egg Guide.

I've given necklaces to Owen, Gray, Kai, and Andy so far.

So here's an interesting question. Does anyone think that this might be a better gateway [drug] into the realm of Harvest Moon? I have a friend who is interested in trying to play one, and he's thinking of starting with this. thoughts

This game is little like any other Harvest Moon game, so I'd say not. It's more for somebody who has played many Harvest Moon games and just loves the cameos.

So I just got this game a few days ago and I have a few questions about it already. X_x

-So far, I've played three days, and I've been trying to talk to Cecil, but he doesn't seem to want to leave the store. D: Does he switch shifts with Rebecca at certain times, or is it just a random thing? o.o

-For the ice cream game, does it matter how big a circle you make when you're rotating the Wii Remote to fill the ice cream cone up? I've only been doing small circles since I didn't think it mattered, but the ice cream always looks terrible and I usually get a low score. D:

Nevertheless, though, I really like this game. <3 It's so cute and paper-y and, um...cute! :D And all of the MLS-exclusive characters are neat, too...I kinda hope they'll make a DS HM game or something with the Clover Town people one day. :D
