No, I just met Daniel today, and he hasn't shown up.

I have the 2 normals, Grandma, and Mint as customers so far.

Hmm... I might get it... I'll wait and see... It's seems cute and shallow, from what I've seen. If it's like that, I probably won't get it.

And I have a question, is Skye in this game? I think I saw him on the Japanese website for this game...Unless I imagined it...

Skye's not on the site. And for the second day, the only people whom appeared so far are Takakura, Thomas, and Vaughn. They leave though and you don't really see them anymore it seems. I'll turn it on though to see if anybody is on at night.

Well Thomas DID say that characters from out of town would be appearing TOMORROW.

Looks like he'll be an add-on content character like Popuri.

I just checked, and I found a screenshot of him. I don't know japanese, so it's kinda hard to tell you where it is...
If you look under the section labeled "new" and click the 3rd link, he's there.

Ah, I see. Anyway, I am still seeing everybody in the same place and I am still getting the same customers. Maybe once customer's from Thomas' town start coming. Also... I want a turkey! o3o

I don't think this game shallow so far though, yeah the mini-games and such, may come off that way but this game is about making friends with villagers to revive the town from what I have gathered. Besides, running a store in HM is kinda cool. x3

It's too bad you can't get married... And the real-time is a bit of a con for me... Still I might give it a try.

How does the friendship system work in this game? I'm sure it's different, since it's a real time game, right?

Well the people seem to like you more the better you do in shops. I believe that is the key to making friendships. You can also talk to them in town, as for making them not too sure yet. Give it another day or two, and it may tell us in game or something.

Nursefin says that even though there isn't marriage you can have some intimate dialogue with the characters or something like that, lack or marriage however I never let keep me from enjoying an hm game. Otherwise I'd miss out on great gems like GBC2, STH, and IL.

Unfortunately there isn't that much to the friendship system in this game.

There are different customer rankings, like "one-timer" "familiar face" and "regular"

I think characters only have maybe 3-4 "heart levels" (or whatever the equivalent would be) in this game so they only have a few lines of dialogue. And after you beat the game I don't really know what the benefit of having your "promised person" is, though the Harvest Sprites will help you with random things.

Just got this tonight, but it seems I'm not able to do anything!

All the shops are locked D: I'm guessing that's because it was 11pm when I was playing, though

Actually the game has no difference between day and night. A lot of the time I would play around 12-2 AM when I had a visitor coming that day, just to get it over with.

That's just pretty much how the first day works, you can only serve Grandma. I'm on the third day now and all the stores are open. I've seen Kai and Popuri. Though for the new characters I really like Danica. She's awesome, and not just because of her character design.

Damn, no Popuri for me yet.

But I've seen the amazing WINEMAKER Kai, so I'm glad that there's reassurance of the 64 characters. Also, I saw the Gourmet. Haha, I love his fat.
