Favorite Season to Marry in?

Personally, my favorite is winter. I don't know. I just like the idea of a white wedding scenery with the bride in her dress. Maybe some white flowers.

Though AP's flower festival in spring makes me tempted to marry during the time in spring when the sakura trees are blooming.

I use to always gets married in Summer, because I never saw the link between the marriage date and the birth date of your child in the handheld games. After figuring it out, I started to get married in either the Spring or Winter.

So yeah, Spring or Winter, because I want either Fall or Winter babies.

I always get married in Fall in a Harvest Moon game, just seems to be how it works out.

In real life I got married in September.

Fall, the season is just absolutely gorgeous. The many colors, the season of eating, celebrating, and as well as the time where everyone is getting ready for the cold winter ahead where all life goes to rest and the hardships of nature are brought out. It seems... almost like a symbolization.

Marriage, at first it's a happy time of celebration and joy, where you bond and get closer. As what is ahead is many hardships that you will have to work together to endure. -cough-

More so Winter but I settled for Fall in AP since I had no patience to wait around another fifty million real life hours to get to Winter. XD Hah.

Then I get upset if my kid is born in a crappy season.
I have to plan all of that out. I don't like it when they're born in Spring. o-O Though that would be beneficial in my AP game..

Fall has a billion events in it for me. Our wedding, Juli's birthday.. then the obvious festivals and all. Summer is my birthday. So my kid being born in Winter or Spring would be nice so we'd have a special family thing for almost each season~

I try to go for winter. Since it becomes something else to look forward to at the end of the HM year. :>
I still dislike HM winters, I must put a lot in to make them bearable. xD

It has to be Winter every time I can make it possible. Not only is the Earth ever so majestic in appearance, but it is a rather fine climate as well! There is also the huge plus that it gives me something to look forward to in the Winter season since there is little farming that occurs during it in most Harvest Moons. It really adds to the relaxation of Winter and some anticipation as well.

Now that you bring it up though, the sound of sakura blossoms sounds mighty appealing! I can see why you would be tempted. If only Harvest Moon had one of the snow sakuras growing around town.

I got married in the spring, but I would probably get married in the winter if I had a choice now.

Usually it depends on what season I want to have my child in, but I have a lot of time before I will have my child.
I plan to get married in spring on my first file, to Gill, then on my second, to Luke, in Summer.

Summer. One, I prefer Spring babies, two I can imagine the sounds of cicadas in the background at a beach wedding...the bride in a simple dress, barefoot on the beach...mmm, so nice. ^_^
