I don't know what island to live on! I want to marry Kamil and possibly Kiriku as a girl, and Rasberry and Licorice as a guy but I highly doubt that there is going to be more than 2 files! This looks like it is going to be a quite well done Harvest Moon! I also kinda hope that they might put SOME voice acting in this Harvest Moon. Cuz, in Rasberry's description it says she has an accent. Why would they add that if your were't going to hear her voice?

I think the accent thing mentioned is refering to the dialect she speaks in (seems to be Kansai-ben ^_^). In the jpn version the dialect can be seen just through reading the dialog. For example, w/o going too much into grammar mechanics, she would say "nan ya?" (meaning "what is it?") instead of the standard "nan da?"

I'm not sure, but I imagine in the English version they'll probably change some of wording written: "How ya' doin'?" instead "How are you?"

Seriously, why they can't make as awesome guys as the dudes from Rune Factory? :/ I love Gaius, Zaid, Ondorus, Max, Barret and more... The HM guys lack in personality and they look like bishies from "Princess Debiut"

I think they changed HM to be more appealing to specific target market, mainly children (and people who don't like complex characters and plot) and RF is more targeted to young adult and teenager. But, that doesn't mean adults can't enjoy playing HM.
And yes, I do hope they'll make less bubbly characters since they started to be annoying (no offense to those who like them).

I have a feeling that Marvelous doesn't care about making Harvest Moon for older fans anymore and the new games are adressed to the younger players. The characters lack in personality, they look very young, the events are bubbly and the plot is nothing special either. Marvelous is making a new game for 3DS now. We still know nothing about it. But I hope it will be more serious than bubbly TV.

I don't know why, but I always feel a sense of deep-rooted shame when I can still look at an HM character and say "I'd tap that", since the games have gotten so much...lighter. No more mothers abandoning their children (May), no more families being killed by natural disasters (Gotz), just....villagers arguing over who is better.

I always wonder what the recipe is to make such visually appealing...males, at least. Like that classic white-haired guy. WHAT IS IT that makes him so...delicious, for lack of a better word. xD;; I'd say Kamil too, but I sorta get vibes from him. Like he'd make out with you, steal your wallet while doing it, and run away. Like Skye from DS Cute.

Well... they are MUCH better than the Grand Bazaar people, They were boring. I wish they had a teensy bit more character, though. Maybe a sad, lonely woman who is secretly pregnant but doesn't tell you until two months after your married. Or a bachelor who looks like a hazel - haired, mysterious respected working man who secretly has unusual powers who uses them to hurt for revenge of his parent's death? Now THAT would be cool. But maybe that's too Rune Factory-ish...
