This game is very relaxing. You can play it after stressful dayRubySnape wrote:ME TOO! I bet it'll be a good game!lemo_the_lemon wrote:I'm excited 'bout it! Sure I wouldn't mind Twins or RF3, but I've been waitning ages for Wind, damnit!
Yeah...the M/FoMT bachelors weren't that great. xDDD;;Nurse Fin wrote:Really? I thought the MFoMT bunch was positively mediocre, on par with IoH's selection but better than AnWL (which is honestly not very hard to beat out).Anonymous Fish wrote:It's such a pity how ugly the bachelors are compared to the girls. There never seems to be a Harvest Moon with equally good looking characters since FoMT.
I find it too bad that there's a lack of dialogue in WB, because there were some characters that I did think were interesting and/or had potential (though I digress that a fair number of the characters were snoozefests).
Schmidt is my favorite handheld HM bachelor so far D: He looks great and has a promising personality base; not stupidly shy nor overly flattering, and he had a more interesting lifestyle, though of course you barely ever learn anything about it which was disappointing. Since he seemed burdened by his restrictive life at home, I wish they elaborated on that more. I mean, wouldn't his family have a problem with their royal prince marrying some peasant farm girl? If he's not even allowed to spend time with his sister because he has to dedicate himself to studies and palace affairs whenever he is at home? Somehow the pieces just don't line up. You just get married to him like it's nothing.
The selling system is pretty good and original. Finally we can do a little more than throwing stuff to the bin. I really loved selling my stuff to people on the bazaar. It was a great fun and I wish we had the same system in the rest of games.Anonymous Fish wrote: Little things annoyed me a lot too, such as the fishing system, being able to jump like that, and the selling system... Everything just felt 'blehhh'.

They had this system for several years in the series now, but it wasn't as big part of the games as it is in this game. You can sell your stuff to the townsfolks in AWL and AnWL when Van hasn't set up his shop. You can also do it in Harvest Moon 3 on Gameboy Color, when you get your own boat to ride to the mainland on Saturdays (or was it another day of the week?)Fretka wrote:The selling system is pretty good and original. In AWL (or AnWL)? You should set it up at a time you see people walking by close to the shop.lemo_the_lemon wrote:Nobody ever came to my mini shop :C
:O We could ?!Fretka wrote:Yeah, I forgot about the AWL/AnWL. We could have own mini shop there.
