I have done ALL of the requirerments, but my kapy still doesnt love ME I have fished all the fish including him, i've collected all the things in the mine, i've got the goddess, AND th Kapa gem, my house is as big as it can get i even have the bath, I shiped 1 of EVERYTHING, been to the bottom of both mines it is year 6! and i have given him cucumbers for 3-4 years now AND HE STILL SAYS "......dont come back" What should i do i cant get kapa to save my life................ any one else accualy maried him or is this a problem for everyone............. sorry if this question was already ancewered but I didnt see it soooooo>...... I WANT KAPA all well at leat i can say i've done everything thanks for reading my rant please respond back. and sorry for my terrible spelling....(hies in corner

Did you ask Carter for permission to marry Kappa during Carter's confessional times?
Carter must say: "I want to marry the Kappa. You must love him dearly to feel that way. I'm sure the Kappa knows you feel about him. The Harvest Goddess says "follow your heart."

I don't believe he ever says anything other than "........don't come back." (or whatever he says whenever you toss in a cucumber). Like Susa-Ann said, it could be the confessional thing. If you've done all that and haven't tried proposing, throw the blue feather at Kappa and see what he says. (Never married him, but know the requirements ^^;)

I agree with the confessional thing. Aside from that, I can't think of anything you're missing in there, so if he still refuses then maybe it's a glitch?

Oh yeah. Have you bought the blue feather from the general store?

Yep i have the Kapa Gems, and I have the blue fether. I asked him to marry me and he says ".......Dont come back"
I have the biggest house so that cant be it maby i just need to give him more cucumbers i am now starting to give him 3 a day.... i hope that helps but i dont no.

Here's what it says on the site, so if you can check off all of these requirements I'm not really sure, but maybe you should just double check everything?

Kappa is the most difficult of the bachelors to marry. Besides courting him with gifts of Cucumbers, you have to complete seven other requirements:

Collect all 9 of the Kappa Jewels
Catch every type of fish available in the game.
Ship at least 1 of every item that can be sold through Zack.
Expand your house to the largest size and own the Big Bed.
Discover every type of item hidden in the ground of the Spring Mine and the Lake Mine.
Ask Carter for permission to marry Kappa during Carter's confessional times.
Live on your farm for at least 5 years.

After you've finished each one, you can take the Blue Feather to the lake and show it to him.

Maybe you haven't gotten things like the teleport stone, cursed tools, and such from the mines? The confessional thing again...?

Also, 3 cucumbers a day doesn't make a difference, I don't think. As far as I know only one gift counts a day.

I did all of this, I even have all the cooking in the game......I have nothing left TO do exept buy a vacation house and that wont take me too much longer because i have roughly 3,327,943g.... I Cant do anything else except take care of my 6 year old animals and earn more money..... maybe i have to except the fact that i cant get marred to him because its a glitch......
Oh in the past i gave all the harvest sprites a BUNCH of flour and got them up to 3 harts in 1 day took a lot of money but i reamember doing it.............. .....all well.......

Did you already give 20 gifts to the H.G. (one a day)? She'll ask you if you like a boy; you should choose Kappa. In the meantime I think that this could be another requirement for marrying Kappa, because I had the same problem. I tried to marry him about 4 years ago ( http://www.fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=34186 ). I wasn't successful.

In 2009 I started a new game. At first I made all the requirements. Then I started to give him a wrapped cucumer every day. When the blue feather appeared in the supermarket (after ~50 wrapped cucumbers) I knew that Kappa's heart was orange (in my first game 4 years ago I had already bought the blue feather when Kai's heart was orange in year 1. So I never knew when Kappa's heart was orange). 25 wrapped cucumbers later he still said "no". But his heart must have been red (I needed 50 cucumbers from black heart to orange heart, so 25 cucumbers must be enough for orange->red heart). Again I asked for help in this forum ( http://www.fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.p ... &p=3122080 ). No success.

Then I rembered about the H.G. and gave her a few gifts (I had given her several gifts before so I only needed a few days). When she asked me about my favourite boy I answered "Kappa", and then I could marry him ( http://www.fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.p ... &p=3128292 ).

...that kinda bites I alreadyu had the seen with the goddess and I think i didnt tell her i liked the kapa i think i said someone else
because i realy didnt think that i wold ever come this close to the kapa.....i realy dont want to start the game all over.. of corse i didnt rap the cucumbers i just through them in plain maby i need to start raping them thanks for the advice....new game here i might come
