Ok, I've read all the information and I just wanted to see if I've got my head around this.

First of all, if you have not previously bought any wonderful this winter, can I do this for any day of winter?

Second, on the 10th, chen has for sale a Wonderful Peice for 30000g. Will I need to purchase this in order for a wonderful to appear 3 days later or is this an item separate of the wonderful respawn?

Finally, is the following the correct method:

I'm trying to get a green wonderful, so I'll be using the axe to change the level of 'other'.

1) Sit by my bed
2) Swing axe once
3) Sleep
4) Check chen's shop

if not there:
5) Reload
6) Swing axe twice
7) Sleep
Check shop

Repeat and increment axe swings by 1 until a green wonderful is in the shop.

you can buy any day if you did not buy it previously.
Wonderful piece is separate from other wonderfuls - you do not have/need to buy it. Chen does not sell wonderfuls on 10th of winter - so you will have to try next day.

Yes, your schedule is about right - have a lot of food, because 100 tool use will drain your stamina. I prefer shipping weeds/stones - no stamina loss an easier to count.

Pffft.... early winter, year two, in my game now. I've gotten 2 wonderfuls to appear at Chen's so far, but neither were colors I needed. Repeated save, check store, reload, use tool etc etc over and over, but I never could get orange or green to show up. Bah.

Does anyone know if having a fishing enchantment would affect your multiplier on the fishing rod for getting a wonderful this way?

If there is already 1 wonderful for sale, will another appear as well or do you have to buy the first before a second can appear?

Enchantments do not affect wonderfuls sales.

If the next morning when I'm going to Chen's store, I see the "Ganon just built me a bridge to rice island" it won't affect it, right?

I don't think it will affect it, but man that would be so annoying to cycle through that 100 times... I avoid having Gannon build anything the day before for that reason.

since only the talking gives you +1 other degree and thats AFTER you leave your house ( read: woke up ) it doesn't affect poop

Perhaps someone help me with this very curious thing that's happening to me.

I'm just aiming for a Wonderful in general, so I began the tool swinging.

1-20 swings, provided me with nothing, but then I saved.

1 swing, nothing.
1 swing, 1 weed, and I get a Yellow.
1 swing, 2 weeds, and I still get a Yellow...
1 swing, 3 weeds - still Yellow.
1 swing, 4 weeds - Yellow yet again.

Anyone have any idea why I'm suddenly getting Yellow over and over?

Nevermind, I figured out the problem.

I've noticed that something seems wrong.
I swung my axe two times, there was a yellow wonderful.
Then I reloaded.
I shipped a stone which is +2 other and shouldve also gotten me the yellow wonderful as well, but it didn't? Why is this happening?

so im aiming for an orange using the axe, i cycled all the way thru ( saw the same colours pop up twice) and settled for a red for when i water in spring... now its the 5th and reading all these factors are confuseing the hell out of me

i also tried using the brush, reload, increment, no luck
