if his other degree is the highest degree, thats wrong
it depends on the highest degree
if it is other, then a maximum of 50 times and if that doesnt help, you need to inc the other degree one point and do the 50 times again
if it ISN'T other, up to 99 times is right.

so if you want an indigo wonderful you have to cook, right? there is no 'other' to indigo stone, all i can get with my axe are orange green and red wonderfuls.

my question is: would it work to cook failed dishes (using stones for example)?

Well actually, if you look at the matches, you'll see that in order to get an indigo wonderful, you need to match the cooking degree (by cooking) with the animal degree (by brushing). So you can either leave your other degree still while you cook (which takes forever in my opinion) or let your cooking degree still and brush ! I find it a lot easier...

Brushing only works on animals I think - you cannot just brush air to raise animal degree.
So cooking it is for Indigo - it just not as easy to tweak since cooking recipe is 5 points, and shipping it 2 - there is no +1 points, so you have to get lucky for numbers to match.

Then I guess you have to do all the +2 until you have all the even numbers, then do a +5 so you switch to the even category, and do all the even numbers with a +2 action, not forgetting the ones you skipped with your +5... Is that clear ?

Gosh, I'm lost :<
Can someone give me another example for this? My title currently is Marques Veg Lv.79 ; Does that means my highest degree is crop and the value is...uh, 79? So I have to match my Other degree to 79 so I can get Red Wonderful?

Uhmmm... Shipping weeds contributes how many points to which category? :<

Hey Castle Age player! xD

But no, your title doesn't tell you your exact degree, only which one is your highest, but that's got nothing to do with the matching thing. There's no way to know what is your degree, but it doesn't matter which one is higher because what counts is the last two digits

Example:

You have, lets say, 40678 Crop degree points and 25121 Other degree points but you can't see it and here is where the guessing comes. You will never get to know how many swings with a tool or how many weeds/stones you need to ship to get a Wonderful before you try it.

If it was the case I suggested, as you see, Crop degree is 78 and Other 21. From 21 to 78 there are 57 points, so you would need to swing your Axe 57 times, or swing it once and then ship 28 weeds because each one gives you 2 Other degree points. But you would need to one by one, loading if nothing happens until it does.

What I do is to start shipping stones one by one, because it helps keep the counting. After shipping 50 without saving, if I haven't got the Wonderful I wanted, I swing the Axe once, I save, and then ship another 50 stones.

All of this has been said before but you need to read through it deeper ;)

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for these tricks. I have chose to use the "ship weeds" trick and got my second Green Wonderful (first from contest) which helped me got to the bottom of the mine, and the Harvest Goddess gave me an *Indigo* wonderful! XD That's so awesome =D

So after equipping two green wonderfuls onto my hoe I realize that getting that 30000 mining degree points is actually quite easy; before I got the second green wonderfuls, I could only reach floor 78 of the mine, also because I keep on reloading to avoid losing stamina, but after I got the second green wonderfuls, I got to the floor 255 on my 4th try, so it was actually great! (1st try = stuck at level 100, 2nd try = stuck at 180-ish since it was past 10pm and I ran out of food, 3rd try = stuck at level 200, and 4th try = my lovely indigo wonderful!) So the first 3 tries (+ shipping all jewels/ores) actually accumulated 20000+ mining points. With two green wonderfuls on the hoe definitely makes it possible to gain 30000 mining points in a week. =D

Hey all

Thanks for all these pages of information. It is very useful, and I will be attempting to acquire wonderfuls with this (it is my first winter).

I will be trying to get the indigo one first.

But I have a question first concerning the shipping of cooked items. If I do this at night, that means it won't be shipped off until next day at 5 pm right? Does my action of putting the cooked item in the shipping bin instantly adds +2 cooking points? Or is it only after it has been shipped off the next day at 5 pm?

If anyone could answer this, it would be extremely appreciated!
