i recently got a used MFoMT from Amazon, and I was wondering why when I hit rocks, i dont get material stone. or if there are at all. im really confused, since this never happened to me in ds/cute.

The FoMT and MFoMT games don't use Material Stone, just lumber. Use the stones as a fence for your animals/entire field.

Yah, I'd really suggest not hitting them and keeping them for fencing. It's really handy for when you want to put your animals outside!
