when i am battleing friends i would make the name likemthis:
Lets say I was gonna use a fire pokemon, okay. If I were sending it out, my opponet would want to send out a water pokemon to my dissadvantage. I would nick name my fire pokemon a name of a pokemon that grass pokemon kill very easily. Hence, my opponet would send out a grass pokemon to kill my pokemon which he thinks has a weakness to grass. But I really send out my fire pokemon with the name of the pokemon that grass is good aginst. I would burn his little grass behind right off! I love that trick.

i kept the names in red and blue and that because i didnt know any better......

Omigosh... i ever thought of that ^_^.... Clever scheme... I'll try it on my friends sometime.

One time I named one of my pokemon mew, I showed it to my friend, and she thought it was a mew! You can do that for trading, but it may be mean.

My way is actually the best way, because nobody knows what you are pulling out to beat them with cause all your pokemon are named _____

i just keep em at there defaults...

lol..i got a female charizard/charmander..why do i find that female+charizard = strange..lol..i forgot what i named them XD if i were crazy enough, it'll be called Kage..XD ..shadow? @_@

in shapphire version i named my 6 pokemon these names

pikachu=Zapper
kyogre=h2o
sandslash=shovel
relacanth=grandpa
and i cant rember the others but im like level 99 in all of em i like keeping there levels equal so i doan have to dump um in my pc ^_^

Anyway, I don't nickname Pokemon, as I like their normal names and I never battle with friends.

I don't name my pokemon.

I named my Pickachu Rat ^_^

Lets see... I've got Pidgeot the Pidgeot, Pidgeot the Pidgeot, Pidgeot the Pidgeot... I rarely nickname my Pokemon. I have a Pokemon named Squirt, too... it's an Arcanine. Odd name for a Fire Pokemon, huh? Well, there's method to the madness... It knows Water Gun. And Sing. It's half Lapras. IT'S ALL MY GAMESHARK'S FAULT!

My little brother names all his pokemon with rather......dirty names. He names all of them with expletives, and when he runs out, he goes over it again. It's so gross.
