Same here...can't argue with that.
I'm trying to learn japanese by teaching myself using books and stuff (since I kinda don't wanna waste time taking classes) and so far I've memorized only 5 letters...

sometimes, going to a class is best because it gives you that push to keep learning.

I agree, if you're able to take classes, don't miss out on that opportunity. It's not a waste of time... you will probably learn things faster and retain more information because you have to practice it with others.

i was born in japan, so japanese was my first language, but i still haven't mastered it completely. i went to japanese schools here in america, and i know much more now than i would have. i can understand the dialogue in japanese games but...i don't have a japanese wii so i can't get the stinkin games! bleh

Yeah it's better to take clasess (I really wish there were clasess for that were I live) people who have the chance souldn't waste it

I'd love to learn Japanese (not only to play the Harvest Moon games, but to actually go to Japan!)
Being able to import and play the Harvest Moon series before it was translated to English would definitely be a plus ^^
Is WB supposed to be good? I heard that it wasn't all that interesting... 
But I can't help but want to play it anyways ^^

Same, I wish I learn Japanese too...... 2 year ago, when I am going to my secondary school, I've got a choice of choosing language. And one of them is Japanese. But because at that time I can't choose what language should I learn, so my mom chose it for me instead. So then I am now learning German and French. And now I really regret it because I couldn't understand what do people say!
