Is this a glitch or bug or something?

It was Fall the 1st and the next day was 60 days after my wedding, so the pregnancy event was going to happen that day. I sowed all my seeds, and I put 10 eggplant bags in my field, then I went to sleep, and the next day, after I was back home after going to the clinic to get my wife diagnosed with her "stomach thing", the eggplant seeds weren't there anymore, but every other crop was still in its place. I found them on their bags in the tool box. What the hell happened?

Sounds like it could be a possible glitch with the Harvest Sprites. However, I wouldn't be concerned over such a miniscule glitch.
