Does every gift count in a girl's LP or just the first? And if so what does the other gifts do?

You can only raise LP with a gift once a day, and that's the first gift you give to them in the day, the other gifts count toward friendship points, dividing by a factor of 3 with every gift. For example, if you give a girl an item that raises their LP by 500, and their FP by 9:
LP/FP
First gift: +500/+9
Second: +0 / +3
Third: +0 / +1

Im pretty sure that the first counts as the full points and then everyone after is only 50% or something like that
