I have been researching and there is no topic on whether there is online play in this game, I really hope there is since there was none in SI English version which REALLY dissappointed me. Thanks in advance

It feels like half of the game's development was dedicated to the visiting farmer system, where you can have up to 3 other harvest moon gamers visit your game; much like visiting other towns in Animal Crossing. The other players can work on your farm and buy things from your bazaar.
There hasn't been any word if it is going to exist in the English version.
