Yeah, it's just one of those things that the Japanese do; having a lil catchphrase at the end of a sentace. It shows up a lot in anime; Naruto, Gin Tama etc~

My catchphrase is "you know?" A lot of people say catchphrases with out realizing it. I've had the same one for about 4 years after playing kingdom hearts 2.
So "Budum" must be their catchprase. And since the harvest sprites live together, they stared saying the same one (I think).

It's basically a phrase that someone says a lot and is known for saying it.
I would agree that "Budum" is a catchprase.
