All of us know that our Mayor is greedy... I got Orichalc , Moon Stone and Mysterile... what did you guys got?

I never even bothered getting the stocking. I was planning to, but I decided not to when I read on the site that he gives something really cheap. I'm guessing all the stuff he gives is stuff you can get in the mines, not including the rare gems (pink diamond and alexandrite, which sell for 10,000 g each).

I forget what he gave me since I haven't played in so long, but it is usually just something cheap from the mine. I plan to leave the stocking full next year just to spite him; Also the stuffed stocking looks far cooler on the wall than an empty sock for the entirety of a year.

Well, as mentioned, it's something cheap, but it's better than nothing.

I went through so much trouble befriending Ellen, buying the sheep, then extending the farm house,
and finally buying the yarn maker to make yarn and give to her. : (

If you did get the stocking, then don't feel bad just because you get « Cow Poopy » stuff, because:

The one I remember getting was Moon Stone.

It seems like he only gives stuff from the Lake Mine, has anybody gotten stuff from the Spring Mine (gold, silver, copper, etc), or gotten stuff that can be foraged (grasses, mushrooms, etc).
