Missed a Heart Event.. Can I still marry him?

I was going after Gray and I checked the heart events for him, but it turns out I missed one apparently? I got the one listed after it.. and the one before, but I seem to have missed one in between. Is this possible, and can I still marry him?

I thought that heart events could only be triggered in order. (?)

I'm pretty sure Heart Events can be triggered out of order... I think it's possible to activate them later. If you've seen all the others you might be able to marry him anyway.

Heart events can be triggered out of order? Maybe I was thinking of something else.
Well, I know you have to trigger all the events to get married, I'm also sure that you will be able to go back and trigger it.

I'm pretty sure you can't trigger them out of order. You probably have already seen it and forgot you did. If you have the big bed and Gray at a red heart, try proposing to him. If it works, than you've already seen it.

Yeah, it wouldn't hurt to try, just buy the blue feather at the Supermarket and give it a test.
