I walked into the Clinic one day and I triggered the doctors purple heart event. I never talk to him and I don't think I ever even gave him a gift.

I think you get bonus LP when you have a checkup or when you buy medicine. Do you do that a lot?

Doctor did the same thing to me during the Spring Thanksgiving when I only had Claire go for Gray.

Hm, the same thing happened to me, when I wasn't even wooing him yet. I did buy four medicines, though, so perhaps that contributed, but I doubt that's enough to puch him to purple.
