My dog can jump and follow now! He still can't sit though...and that seems easier o_o.
But I didn't know your dog could find power berries!! I'm gonna try to teach him search!

You just have to keep playing the notes, i'm at 3 hearts and around 2-3 i'm able to do all the commands except search but i havent actually tried that one much.

In STH it was alot more sensative and easy for him. One thing I have noticed is if he's preforming another action like run/bark or whatever that he naturally does he has doggie add and doesnt want to listen as much. I keep thinking maybe that'll go away as hearts go up.

There's power berries in this game? Any particular trick to getting them?

I've found that I need to get the dog's attention or paying a command melody won't work. With the dog is nearby, pull out your ocarina - the dog will turn to face you if you've gotten his attention.

Play the search command for your dog in these areas.
- Flower shop/Tool Shop area - To the left of the Flower bed by Lyla's store
- Supermarket Area - The mound of earth in front of the store, between the two trees
- Bar/Tea Shop - The tree near the northern part of the area
- Goddess Spring - Near the two trees in the middle
- Clove's Villa - The tree at the top right of the stairs
- Carpenter's house - Near the stairs in the center of the map
- Carpenter's house - Near the righthand set of stairs
- Mountain Crossroad - In the center of the area
- Mountain Crossroad - The top of the stairs
- Town Square - To the left of the Flower/tool shop sign
You can find a total of four powerberries. After the fourth, you won't find another.

Yes, there are four power berries that your dog can find for you. There are 10 specific locations where the berries might be. The dog can find other things, like mushrooms, truffles etc, in those places, too.

To find these things, take you dog to one of the spots and play the "search" command until the dog stops in one place and barks. The dog will then dig up whatever is there and you'll be able to pick it up.

The special spots to search are:

1) To the left of the flower bed by Lyla's store
2) The mound of earth in front of Ronald's store between the two trees
3) Bar/Tea Shop by the tree near the northern part of that area
4) Near the two trees in the middle of the Goddess Spring area
5) The tree at the top right of the stairs to Clove Villa
6) Near the stairs in the center of the area in front of Woody's shop
7) Near the righthand set of stairs in front of Woody's shop
In the very center of the Pike Mountain area
9) Same area as 8, but at the top of the stairs (doesn't say which one)
10) To the left of the Flower/Tool Shop sign in the Plaza area
